I wouldn't say any of the food will blow you away, but I generally pack food on my short excursions up to Brigham City, because there is just nothing for a health conscious vegan to eat. Everyone here was very accommodating to me and after a few ingredient replacements, I had a pretty tasty vegan burrito stuffed with sautéed mushrooms, spinach, peppers, and nopales. The salsa verde that it was smothered in was a touch on the salty side, but the added guacamole helped balance it out. The server was knowledgeable about how everything was prepared and was just really helpful. The food was good enough that I ate entirely too much of it. This will be my go to Mexican joint when I'm up visiting.

Though they are not entirely connected to the Logan restaurant, they are definitely sister stores with the exact same menu and cooking style. I still love their tacos de pollo a carbon, see pic. GreAt service and of course chips and salsa. If I'm driving down I-15 from Idaho falls , I will be stopping in Brigham city for el toro.

Our family was just passing through Brigham City on the way home and decided to stop for a bite to eat. The food was fantastic! The service was also second to none. Reuben and his team do an excellent job. Such a shame as we live in Sandy and would DEFINITELY frequent this place more often if we lived closer. Perhaps we'll get lucky and they'll open another location in Sandy/Murray ;)

Visited Brigham City; El Toro was one of the few restaurants open on Sunday night. Fresh, flavorful food. We tried the lime chicken and the veggie burrito. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Good service, reasonably priced.

My wife and I share the "Toro Viejo" dinner combo and it was more than enough food. They bring out chips and salsa to start, a red salsa and a green salsa. My wife likes the green one and I like the red one. The salsa did need a little more salt in my opinion. The Toro Viejo combo comes with a Taco,burrito, enchiladas, and chile relleno. Food was excellent. Decor is very cool, spanish style chairs and decor all over. It was a great place to have Cinco De Mayo dinner.

Cheese enchlada were very good chips and salsa the chips hot and good salsa just ok. Service was bit slow but not too bad. I would come back if in town again.

The Carne Asada was great. And the cilantro chicken was also good. The only thing that would make it better would be home made tortillas instead of store bought. I will eat there again the next time I am in the area.

This place is as good of Mexican food as you can find in small town Utah. Portion size and price are reasonable. My kids inhale the tacos.

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. It had no flavor and the enchalata left an after-taste in my mouth. When I ordered a combination that included a chili rellano, the waitress said, "If you want a real chili rellano, it is a dollar more. The one that comes with the combination is not a real chili rellano." What?? I ordered the real one and I would hate to have tasted the one that came with the combination. The wait staff were very nice and helpful, but the food was very unpleasant.
